Both of them has rather questionable rosters, original characters, (Ai and Yuki here, Ingrid in CFE.), they are 2-on-2 fighting games (though NGBC actually has tag-based gameplay.) and probably most important of all is that it crosses over several fighting game properties together to create a lukewarm, forgotten fighting game with mixed-to-bad reception.
